Palsee Terms of Use

Effective 18 October 2026 · version 1.0-beta

These terms govern your use of the Palsee beta app for macOS and the services that come with it. By downloading, installing or using Palsee you accept them. If you don't, please don't use Palsee. The Czech version is the governing one; this is a translation.

1. Who provides Palsee

Palsee is provided by Uscita capital s.r.o., Company ID (IČO) 29648351, registered office Národní 961/25, Staré Město, 110 00 Prague 1, Czech Republic, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, Insert 450095 ("we"). Contact: [email protected].

"Palsee" means the macOS app, account and plan management, the managed model access (gateway) and this website. "You" are the person using Palsee; if you use it for a company, you accept these terms on its behalf as well and confirm you may do so.

2. Beta

Palsee is in development (beta). Features may change, be missing or stop working for a while, and output may contain mistakes. The beta is not notarised by Apple yet; you install it following the guide at your own discretion.

The beta is provided "as is". Back up important data and check Palsee's work before you rely on it.

3. Licence

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Palsee on Macs you control, for as long as these terms apply and within your plan.

  • Don't sell, rent or redistribute Palsee or any part of it.
  • Don't circumvent plan limits, sign-in or security measures.
  • Don't reverse-engineer the code beyond what the law expressly allows.
  • Don't use Palsee for anything unlawful, anything that infringes others' rights or breaks third-party terms (e.g. automating a service that forbids it), or to send spam.

4. Account, plans and prices

Some features (company procedures from Capture, managed models, paid plans) need a Capture account. You are responsible for your credentials and for what happens under your account.

The Dot plan is free. Line and Grid are paid as listed on the current pricing; the Grid trial lasts 14 days, after which you move to Dot unless you choose another plan. The exact price, invoicing and payment terms are confirmed when you order. We count daily task limits on our server.

You can cancel a paid plan at the end of the paid period at any time. Consumer rights, including the right to withdraw from a distance contract, are not affected.

5. Actions on your Mac

At your request Palsee reads the screen, clicks, types and runs background tasks. You set how far it may go with the mode (Show, Auto, Agent) and with macOS permissions. Payments, passwords, mass deletions and similar sensitive steps always need your confirmation; Esc stops Palsee at any time.

AI models can be wrong. You are responsible for checking the results and for the decisions you make based on them (especially accounting, legal, financial and HR ones).

6. Your content and data

Your content (screen, text, files, procedures) stays yours. We use it only to provide Palsee, as described in the Privacy Policy. We don't use your content to train models.

If you use Palsee for an organisation and process other people's personal data (e.g. on screen), you are responsible for having a legal basis. A data processing agreement for organisations is available on request.

7. Third-party services

Palsee uses third-party AI models and voice services (mainly OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, Deepgram and ElevenLabs). If you enter your own API key or use a local or company model, that relationship is governed by the provider's terms and you are responsible for its configuration. We are not responsible for the availability of third-party services.

8. Intellectual property

Palsee, its code, design, name and logo belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you no rights beyond the licence in section 3. Open-source components are governed by their own licences.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage, lost profit or lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us for Palsee in the last 12 months (CZK 1,000 for free use). This limit does not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, to personal injury, or where the law does not allow it — in particular towards consumers.

10. Termination

You can stop using and uninstall Palsee at any time; write to us to close your account. We may restrict or end access for a serious breach of these terms. The beta may end; we will tell you in advance on the website or in the app.

11. Changes

We may change these terms, especially as the beta evolves. We announce material changes at least 14 days in advance on the website or in the app. If you disagree, you can stop using Palsee and cancel a paid plan.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Czech law. Consumers may use out-of-court dispute resolution with the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (coi.cz). Other disputes are decided by the competent Czech courts.
